The Role:

Join the Koko Black Team as our People & Culture Advisor! You’ll be the go-to person for our Production and Warehouse teams, shaping their journey from start to finish. Think of yourself as the champion for safety, compliance, and team growth, weaving our company’s values—Passion, Leadership, Ownership, and Trust—into every aspect of our work culture.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

Safety & Compliance: Lead initiatives to ensure everyone goes home safe and sound. You’ll facilitate training, keep a keen eye on compliance, and make safety engaging and impactful.
Generalist HR Support: Handle everything from drafting contracts to onboarding, probation reviews, and providing support on disciplinary matters.
Recruitment: Be the talent magnet for our Production and Warehouse roles, managing the hiring process and nurturing relationships with talent sources.
Training & Development: Deliver engaging training programs that excite our team members about learning and career growth.
Reporting & Systems Management: Keep track of our systems, stay on top of safety incidents, training completion, and other people metrics, using data to drive improvements and tell compelling stories.
What We’re Looking For:

A people person who’s passionate about creating a positive and safe work environment.
Proven HR experience in a fast paced, hands-on environment. Retail or manufacturing experience is desirable.
A knack for building relationships and working collaboratively with all types of people.
Strong organisational skills with a passion for delivery.
A proactive approach to safety and compliance.
A can-do attitude, with a sprinkle of fun!
