PENNEP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chartered Accountant to join our team. As a Chartered Accountant, Candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial activities, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing strategic financial guidance to our organization.

Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage financial operations, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with accounting principles standards, and legal requirements.
• Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct internal audits and implement effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Prepare financial statements, tax returns, and other financial reports in accordance with regulatory guidelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency.
• Provide financial guidance and support to management in areas such as cost control, revenue optimization, and risk management.
• Conduct financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
• Stay updated with changes in financial regulations and ensure the company's practices are in line with the latest industry standards.
• Offer expertise and guidance on financial planning, investment strategies, and capital management.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulatory bodies as necessary.

Required Skills and Experience
• 2+ years of experience as a Chartered Accountant or in a similar role, preferably in a reputable accounting firm or corporate environment.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and best practices.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret financial data to drive decision-making.
• Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.
• High ethical standards and integrity in handling confidential financial information.

Nice to have skills and experience
• Experience with international accounting standards, such as International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Good to have the knowledge of QuickBooks
• Knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including tax planning and compliance.
• Proficiency in data analysis and financial modeling using tools such as Microsoft Excel or specialized software.
