The South Australian Certificate of Education Board (SACE Board) of South Australia’s primary role is the provision of the South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE) to government, non-government and international schools.

The IMPACT you will drive at the SACE Board
The Finance Officer provides quality customer focussed financial services and timely financial support and advice to clients and staff.
What you will BRING
Experience in processing journals and reconciliations, including bank account reconciliations in a complex organisation.
Experience in managing accounts receivable and accounts payable functions in a complex organisation.
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
Experience in the preparation of financial reports for management using MS Excel.
Experience in building and maintain strong working relationships and cross-functional collaboration within an organisation.
Qualifications
Tertiary studies in accounting and finance desirable.
Special Conditions
Some out-of-hours work.
The incumbent works under the SACE Board of South Australia Act 1983.
Appointment is subject to a satisfactory Working with Children Check from the Department of Human Services and in accordance with the SACE Board policy.
An intense time of activity for the Finance team within the SACE Board of South Australia occurs during December to January, and June to July. For some roles, the incumbent would not normally be able to take extensive planned leave during these times.

Remuneration
ASO3 classification level $67,589 - $72,033 per annum plus superannuation.
This is a term vacancy up to 3 years.
