Job description, work day and responsibilities
Job Responsibilities:
• 25% Project Management: Assigns projects accordingly which includes determining scope, difficulty and matching that with resources available Guides team members and monitors progress to communicate with other stakeholders. Ensure that all enhancements/new contents released are of high quality and delivered on time
• 25% Team/People Management: Provides enough support for members to be able to accomplish tasks; Keeps team members’ morale high. Ensure that team members are productive and satisfied
• 20% Communication with client facing stakeholders (sales/consulting): Provides sales/consulting people clear and timely answers. Ensure that sales/consulting get enough help they need
• 20% Stakeholder Management: Leverages relationships with other cross functional groups to deliver better product enhancements. Ensure that inputs from relevant stakeholders are considered
• 10% Hiring: Hire new team members
Required Skills:
• Project Management to be able to delegate various types of tasks appropriately
• Decision Making to be able to give directions to the group
• Familiarity with database to be able to provide support and make sound decisions
• Communication to be able to function effectively as leader
• Logical thinking to be able to perform/guide individual contributions
• Financial knowledge to be able to see our product from a client’s perspective and see how we can improve it
• Medium to Advance technical skills on MS Excel and SQL.

• Determine allocation of team budget as well as group funds
• Refer all decisions outside department and Manila office policy
• Working Relationships
• Third party data vendors Client queries, data integrity issues, data timeliness
• Manager Get updates from a higher level, provide project updates, escalate issues as necessary, get approvals Weekly at least.
• Engineering Database enhancements if actively working on a project
• Content managers
• Senior Business Analyst from Content Policy Coordinate projects that need either our group’s input or their group’s input once every quarter at least
• Team members Address members’ concerns on how to accomplish projects/ client queries, share relevant updates acquired from other stakeholders Everyday
• People from client facing groups provide solution to clients’ concerns, communicate enhancements everyday
Other:
• The position requires leading a team that performs various tasks that are all geared towards adding/enhancing data content on FactSet’s product suite.
• Tasks can be among researching possible enhancements, executing database enhancements, creating QA tests, and updating client facing documentations. It requires the person to work closely with team members and liaise with other stakeholders, while being an individual contributor at the same time
• Effectively manage the team to make sure to deliver projects on time and make members of the group happy at the same time
• Management skill (both personal and organizational/group)
