Job description
We are a boutique, independent family run Hotel set in the beautiful Hertfordshire countryside, we are currently seeking to recruit an experienced Wedding and Events Manager.
Weddings & Events Manager
You will be joining our exciting events team, who are fully focused on ensuring we provide an outstanding level of service, creating memories to last a lifetime! You will be responsible for overseeing all of the functions we host at Tewinbury, these include Weddings, Birthdays, and our Christmas events, just to name a few!
Wedding & Events Floor Manager - what's involved?
• Running weddings and events on the the day.
• Supporting for the smooth and efficient running of the hotel when not running an event.
• Liaising with the bride and groom or event organizer on the days running up to the event.
• Monitoring Rota's to ensure staffing levels are accurate for the day of the event.
• Assisting in different departments as needed
• Ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.
Wedding & Events Floor Manager - who we are looking for?
• The desire to be part of creating some of life most cherished memories for people!
• Previous operational experience at management level in a busy wedding, conference and events based environment is a must.
• Applicant must have a minimum of 1 years experience of running functions and events and managing teams - applications without this experience will be rejected.
• All applicants must have a flexible approach to their work and be willing to work the hours required of the business.
• An excellent standard of presentation is essential.
• Successful applicants will work a variety of shifts, on any 5 days from 7, on any day of the year.
