Position Overview
As the Vertical Pole Leader, you will use your strong leadership skills, deep knowledge of the industry and the applicable Honeywell solution and associated value propositions to enable the profitable growth of the Sheet Manufacturing & Giga factory Vertical Market.
The Vertical Pole Growth Leader primary focus will be on identifying customer demand to building high quality pipeline. You will participate in pursuit strategy planning, manage margin entitlement and support customer negotiations working closely with the Sales and the Pole VP GM’s. You will provide valuable input for product development, and you will be one of the driving forces for Honeywell achieving dominant market position in this Vertical Market. You will develop customer relationships through coordinating with regional teams and attending trade shows, seminars, etc.
Travel: 30-50%
Ideal Candidate Experience
• Proven track record of enabling / delivering growth in a leadership position
• 10+ years of industrial automation experience.
• Deep knowledge of the Vertical Customer Business drivers.
• Strong knowledge of a broad range of applicable Honeywell and competitor’s solutions.
• Ability to identify, capture and adapt to changing and emerging customer requirements.
• Strong people management / leadership skills
• Persistence in accomplishing objectives despite obstacles and setbacks.
• Previous work experience with cross functional teams and working with different levels in an organization.
• Able to adjust communication to fit the audience and the message.
As Vertical Pole Growth Leader, You Will
• Develop, own and maintain the vertical growth strategy for the Pole
• Be responsible for delivering on the Vertical Pole AOP working with Sales and the Pole VP GM’s
• Build strong relationships with all key customers in the Pole
• Manage a team comprising of Technical Solution Consultants
• Ensure vertical pipeline for growth at 3X for all Regions within the Pole
• Design pricing strategies to achieve margin entitlement for the Pole
• Facilitate cross SBG engagement at Pole level
• Customer & vendor negotiations
• Work with VP GM’s to align Go-To-Market strategies including running Campaigns, Growth Corners and other forums to drive awareness of portfolio and Sales Enablement material
• Collaborating with other Vertical, BTI Leaders and Offering Management leaders to implement best practices andstrategies for the Pole
• Form and manage strategic partnerships with 3rd parties needed to support the new business models
• Actively contribute as part of the relevant NPI business teams for the Vertical
• Ensure the success of relevant NPI launched in the Pole
YOU MUST HAVE
• Bachelor's degree and/or tertiary level technical/engineering qualification
• 5+ years industrial automation experience
• Strong knowledge of a broad range of applicable automation solutions
• Experience with people management
• Tracking record of delivering growth
• Demonstrated analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
• Track record of building strong business relationships
