Responsibilities
The Trademark Paralegal will play a crucial role in supporting our trademark practice group by assisting attorneys with trademark prosecution, maintenance, enforcement, and related matters
Assist attorneys with all aspects of trademark prosecution, including conducting preliminary trademark searches, preparing and filing trademark applications, and monitoring application status
Coordinate communication with clients, government agencies, and foreign associates regarding trademark matters
Manage trademark docketing system to ensure accurate and timely deadlines are met
Conduct trademark clearance searches and analyze search results to assess potential conflicts
Draft and prepare trademark-related documents, including office action responses, assignment agreements, cease and desist letters, and trademark maintenance filings
Assist with trademark enforcement efforts, including monitoring trademark infringement activities and coordinating with outside counsel as necessary
Conduct factual and legal research on trademark-related issues and prepare summaries and memoranda for attorney review
Maintain organized and up-to-date electronic and physical trademark files and databases
Provide administrative support to attorneys, including calendar management, scheduling, and document management
