Overview: We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Tour Executive to join our team. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals passionate about travel and eager to learn the intricacies of tour operations. The successful candidate will assist the Tour Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating tours, ensuring a high-quality experience for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support Tour Planning and Coordination:
• Assist in the creation of detailed itineraries for various tours, including transportation, accommodations, activities, and meals.
• Help coordinate with vendors, hotels, transportation providers, and local guides to ensure seamless tour operations.
• Aid in communicating tour details accurately to clients and stakeholders.
• Meet and Greet Clients at Airport and Hotel on arrival and departure.
• Customer Service Support:
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about tour packages, destinations, and travel arrangements.
• Support in handling customer complaints and resolving issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with clients and provide assistance in personalized travel recommendations.
• Sales and Marketing Assistance:
• Help in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote tour packages.
• Assist in preparing promotional materials, brochures, and online content to showcase tour offerings.
• Participate in sales presentations, travel fairs, trade shows, and networking events to attract new clients.
• Administrative Support:
• Manage bookings, reservations, and payments for tours under the guidance of the Tour Manager.
• Assist in preparing and maintaining accurate records of tour expenses, invoices, and client information.
• Support in monitoring and reporting on tour performance, including customer feedback and financial metrics.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure all tours comply with local and international travel regulations and safety standards.
• Support in conducting risk assessments and developing contingency plans for potential issues during tours.
• Provide clients with necessary travel documents, health and safety information, and guidelines.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field (or currently pursuing).
• Strong interest in the travel and tourism industry.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in using travel booking software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Willingness to work after office hours to meet and greet clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Fluency in multiple languages.
• Experience in social media marketing and digital promotions.
• Internships or previous experience in the travel and tourism industry.
