Responsibilities
• Performs general cost accounting and other related duties for the organization.
• Support the monthly financial close process, ensuring their work is completed in accordance with closing schedule.
• Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and profit and loss statements.
• Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks; manages accounts receivable collections.
• Verifies and/or completes payment of invoices associated with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
• Provides outside auditors with assistance; gathers necessary account information and documents to perform annual audit.
• Files tax forms with federal, state, and local government agencies.
• Recording and transferring funds for corporate transactions.
• Oversight of client banking activity.
• Assist in documenting, and maintaining accounting policies, procedures, and controls in accordance with sound accounting principles, policies, and best practices.
• Ad hoc reporting and projects as necessary
• Other related duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy.
• Extremely proficient in Excel spreadsheets
• A high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, excellent organizational skills and confidentiality are required.
• Must be able to apply analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Effective communication skills – both written and oral.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Must be able to learn other accounting software systems.
• Willingness to work in the office (no remote/hybrid candidates)
