Sponsorship sales

We seek a highly motivated and results-driven Sponsorship Sales Executive to join our Corporate Event Management team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for securing sponsorships for our events by effectively pitching to potential sponsors via email and phone calls. This role requires strong communication skills, a persuasive attitude, and a deep understanding of corporate events. We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked at Fleming Company or any corporate event management company

Responsibilities:
• Identify Potential Sponsors:
• Research and identify potential sponsors that align with our event themes and target audience.
• Build and maintain a database of potential and existing sponsors.
• Develop Sponsorship Packages:
• Create compelling sponsorship packages tailored to the needs and goals of potential sponsors.
• Collaborate with the marketing and events team to ensure sponsorship packages offer value and are aligned with event objectives.
• Email Pitching:
• Craft personalized and persuasive email pitches to potential sponsors.
• Follow up on initial emails to nurture leads and secure meetings or calls.
• Track and analyze the effectiveness of email pitches and adjust strategies accordingly.
• Call Pitching:
• Conduct outbound calls to potential sponsors to present sponsorship opportunities.
• Effectively communicate the benefits and ROI of sponsoring our events.
• Handle objections and provide solutions to address sponsor concerns.
• Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with sponsors, ensuring their needs are met and they receive exceptional service.
• Act as the main point of contact for sponsors, providing regular updates and feedback.
• Contract Negotiation:
• Negotiate sponsorship contracts to secure the best possible terms for the company.
• Ensure all sponsorship agreements are fulfilled and deliverables are met.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with the event management team to understand event details and requirements.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure sponsors are effectively promoted before, during, and after events.
• Reporting and Analysis:
• Track sponsorship sales and prepare regular reports on progress and outcomes.
• Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Event Support:
• Assist with event setup and execution as needed, ensuring sponsor satisfaction on-site.
• Attend events to network with sponsors and gather feedback.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in sponsorship sales and event management.
• Continuously seek opportunities to improve sales strategies and processes.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Proven experience in sponsorship sales, preferably within the event management industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong negotiation and closing abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel as required.
