In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile and web applications by conducting thorough manual testing as well as automated testing and collaborating closely with our development team.
Objectives of this Role:
- Test mobile applications to ensure they meet quality standards and provide a seamless user experience.
- Identify and document defects and bugs, working closely with developers to resolve them.
- Create and execute detailed test cases and test scripts based on user stories and requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that software meets user requirements and is delivered on time.
- Conduct regression testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to validate mobile app functionality and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a testing infrastructure to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the testing process.
- Write detailed test reports and performance analyses, providing insights into mobile app quality.
- Participate in the full software development life cycle, contributing to all stages of mobile app development.
- Stay updated with the latest technologies and trends in mobile app testing by attending conferences and training sessions.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of proven experience as a manual tester, with a focus on mobile applications.
- Proficiency with bug-tracking systems such as JIRA.
- Familiarity with mobile development technologies, including Android and iOS platforms.
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to follow test plans and scripts meticulously.
- Strong organizational and management skills
.- Experience in test automation tools such as Appium, XCUI, Cypress.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Aws code build or Jenkins.
- Familiarity with cloud technologies like AWS.
- Exposure to working with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) frameworks like Cucumber or Karate.
- A certification in javascript or other relevant programming languages.
