Job Description: There is requirement of a Software Developer who has experience of building web applications using BigCommerce .
Experience: 6-8 Years
Roles and Responsibilities:
Big Commerce Platform Expertise: Possess a deep understanding of the Big Commerce platform, its features, and capabilities. Stay up-to-date with the latest platform updates and enhancements.
Jasper Integration Development: Develop integrations between Big Commerce and the Jasper reporting and analytics platform. Establish data synchronization, automate reporting processes, and enable real-time data visibility and insights.
Customization and Theme Development: Customize the look and feel of Big Commerce stores by creating custom themes or modifying existing ones. Implement front-end changes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to enhance user experience and align with the brand's visual identity.
App Development: Develop custom apps and extensions for Big Commerce and Jasper using their respective APIs and SDKs. These apps can provide additional functionality, automate processes, and extend the capabilities of both platforms.
Skills and Qualifications:
• Proficiency in both Big Commerce and Jasper platforms, including a strong understanding of their APIs, data structures, and functionalities.
• Solid programming skills in languages such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and knowledge of server-side languages (PIM & Jasper) is advantageous.
• Experience with integration technologies and patterns (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML) and working with APIs of third-party systems.
• Strong data analysis and manipulation skills to map and transform data between Big Commerce and Jasper.
• Ability to create custom themes and modify existing themes in Big Commerce using its Stencil framework.
• Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of e-commerce concepts, online payments, order management, and inventory management is beneficial.
• Familiarity with reporting and analytics concepts and tools, particularly Jasper, is highly desirable
