About The Role
Do you have a passion for driving organic growth and making websites soar to the top of search results? We’re looking for an experienced SEO Strategist to take charge of our SEO efforts and play a crucial role in scaling our digital presence globally. If you love digging into the technical side of SEO, optimising for international markets, and staying ahead of algorithm updates, this could be your perfect opportunity.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for conducting in-depth technical SEO audits, ensuring that every aspect of our site is optimised for both performance and search visibility. You’ll work closely with our development, content, and marketing teams to implement best practices that align with Google’s EEAT (Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) guidelines, especially for healthcare-related content. On top of that, you’ll lead our efforts to grow our reach into new languages and regions, creating and scaling multilingual SEO campaigns that take us to the next level.
What You’ll Be Doing
You’ll lead our SEO strategy from both a technical and content perspective. This means conducting detailed SEO audits to spot any issues impacting our site’s crawlability, indexing, or speed, and collaborating with our development team to fix them. You’ll ensure we’re adhering to Google’s best practices and using schema markup and structured data to help our content stand out in search engine results pages.
On the international front, you’ll be scaling our SEO efforts globally. This involves creating strategies that adapt to different languages and regions, optimising for local search behaviours, and using hreflang tags to ensure our content is properly targeted. You’ll help us localise content and maintain SEO standards across all markets, ensuring we maintain credibility and authority, especially for healthcare content.
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct technical SEO audits and resolve issues related to page speed, crawlability, and mobile-first indexing.
• Lead the charge in optimising our website following EEAT guidelines, especially for YMYL (Your Money or Your Life) content.
• Collaborate with development teams to improve site architecture, enhance page load times, and implement structured data.
• Scale our multilingual SEO strategy, ensuring our site performs well across various regions and languages.
• Proactively monitor algorithm updates and adjust strategies to maintain and improve our search rankings.
• Develop and execute SEO campaigns that focus on international markets, local keyword research, and content localisation.
What We’re Looking For
Experience:
• Extensive experience in a technical SEO role or similar, ideally in e-commerce, healthcare, or digital-first industries.
• Proven track record with global SEO campaigns, multilingual optimisation, and scaling content across regions.
Skills:
• Expertise in technical SEO audits, resolving site issues, and optimising for mobile-first and site speed.
• Strong understanding of EEAT principles, especially for YMYL content.
• In-depth knowledge of SEO tools like Google Analytics, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, and more.
• Experience with hreflang tags, structured data, schema markup, and international SEO strategies.
Attributes:
• Analytical thinker with a data-driven approach to problem-solving.
• Strong project management and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and CMS platforms like WordPress or Magento.
