Senior Software Engineer, Fullstack

Capital One is looking for an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in cloud, enterprise, and data center networking technologies to join our team! This is an opportunity to design, deploy, and implement networking technologies that drive the enhancement and evolution of our network infrastructure.

As a Software Engineer, you will be working with the architecture team to integrate new technologies into the existing production environment; gathering requirements, developing designs to meet documented requirements, and implementing those designs. Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree
• At least 4 years of experience in software engineering (Internship experience does not apply)

Preferred Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience with Networking technologies (SDWAN, Cisco ACI, Equinix Cloud Exchange)
• 4+ years of experience with coding and scripting (Python, Ansible, Terraform, Nornir)
• 3+ years of experience in network architecture, design and implementation
• 2+ years of experience with monitoring tools (Observ, Splunk, New Relic, Datadog)
• 2+ years of experience working with Agile Development Practices
• 1+ years of experience with AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure, or another cloud service
