Job Description/Responsibilities: • Architect and develop sophisticated enterprise applications and functionalities for the Android platform. • Conduct rigorous unit testing to ensure code robustness, usability, and reliability. • Engage in cross-functional collaboration to delineate, conceptualize, and deliver new features. • Employ a prioritization framework that balances quality, technical debt, and timely feature delivery. • Address bug fixes, tackle complex customer escalations, and enhance application performance. • Pay meticulous attention to ensuring the application's compatibility across various Android versions and device models. • Continuously explore, assess, and integrate new technologies to enhance development efficiency. • Demonstrate the ability to thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. • Contribute to maintaining code quality, organization, and automation efforts. • Required Experience/Skills: • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, with 5-8 years of comprehensive software development expertise. • You're a hands-on engineer who prioritizes writing code that's easy to comprehend rather than over-engineering. • Proficiency in design patterns like MVVM, MVP, and MVI. • Strong command of Java or Kotlin, alongside proficiency in other pertinent programming languages. • Familiarity with Android SDK, Jetpack, Retrofit, Dagger, and similar libraries. • Experience in collaborating with RESTful APIs and web services. • Prior involvement in enterprise mobile application development is advantageous. • Experience in fine-tuning performance and memory management for complex applications. • Capability to design applications following Android's recommended user interfaces, such as "Material Design”. • Proficiency with Agile development methodology (preferably Scrum), continuous integration, and associated tools (GIT, JIRA, etc.) utilized to facilitate these processes.
