Senior Legal Associate (E-Discovery)

OVERVIEWThe Senior Associate will be responsible for evaluating and interpreting electronic documents for relevancy and privilege with utmost care of quality on document review projects. Partner with team to build strong relationships and solves day-to-day subject matter-related queries. Identifies potential project problem areas and shares proposed solutions to those problems before and as they arrive.DESCRIPTIONPerforming first-line review and quality checks for relevancy and privilege on document review projects for high-profile clients and complex casesAbility to grasp complex subject matters and open to working on multiple projectsEnsure jobs are completed according to client, and industry standards, and that job specifications and deadlines are metBalance workload of team in order to meet the client deadlinesFocus on accuracy and first time right approach to avoid any rework.Ability to handle Relativity (including advanced searches) and other document review platforms.Partner with team, especially with the team members new to document review, in order to bring them up to the speedPerform other special tasks or duties when requiredREQUIRED SKILLSKnowledge of MS Office applications requiredAvailable to work overtime, including evenings and weekends as neededAbility to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlinesAbility to multitask and prioritize the tasks based on importance and deadlineTeam player and helps in creating positive team environment.REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelors of Law (LL.B)Knowledge of eDiscovery and Document Review ProjectsMinimum 3 years of eDiscovery experienceGood oral and written communicationExperience with Relativity is a must; Relativity certification is a plus
