Job description
Production Operators needed for Propane Co.

7am - 3pm Mon-Fri

Starting pay $12. Paid weekly. Steel toe or composite shoes/boots required and reliable transportation is a must!

Primary duties are to support production line equipment, repair and refill propane cylinders for distribution to our customers. Refurbishing consists of valve maintenance, cylinder painting and applying our company cylinder sleeve. Production line experience preferred. Basic (manual) assembly of propane heaters and cages

Additional Duties: Keep the machines and surrounding work areas clean to ensure the general housekeeping and safety of the plant. Operate machines as assigned and assist co-workers at other workstations as needed. Perform any work deemed necessary by the supervisor.

Key Responsibilities:
• Loading raw materials and unloading finished products from the machines, ensuring they meet quality standards
• Stacking goods for shipping and distribution
• Monitoring machines during operations to detect any malfunctions or irregularities
• Adhering to safety guidelines and company standards at all times
• Coordinating with other team members and departments to optimize production processes
• Maintain a clean work environment
• Recording and reporting production data or issues to supervisors
• Manuakl assembly of propane heaters and cages

Desired Characteristics:
• Prior machine operation experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Models a commitment to safety through his/her own day-to-day behavior; follows company safety procedures and policies
• Demonstrates high professional and personal standards; have a commitment to quality, timeliness, and continuous improvement
• Ability to function effectively as a member of a production team
• Ability to follow processes, procedures, and instructions
• Ability to read, understand and pass any necessary training requirements and exams for handling propane
