Job Description Overview
Our partners are imperative to Commvault. The Partner Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and deploying marketing plans with and through our partner ecosystem across International Region focused on driving incremental growth. The individual will work collaboratively with partners and internal stakeholders to deliver world-class joint marketing activities leading to a strong sales pipeline and enhancing our relationships with partners. They will help to execute and track partner campaigns to promote awareness, drive demand generation and ultimately, partner sales, both net new logos and upsell to existing customers. This individual will leverage its extensive experience in channel and partner marketing, strong analytic skills, expertise in influencing cross functional organizations at all levels, to develop measurable processes and programs. The Partner Marketing Manager reports to the Head of INTL Partner Marketing.
Position Responsibilities
• Own the execution of the partner marketing strategy in International Region to scale the reach and drive growth through demand generation programs.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and performance of multi-channel partnership programs and marketing activities with focused partners to drive demand generation and new opportunities into the partner ecosystem pipeline.
• Collaborate closely with Regional Sales to understand the business objectives and align on marketing priorities.
• Be responsible for Partner Marketing Fund (MDF) planning, execution and reporting for International Region.
• Evangelize and enable Partners and Commvault field teams to build co-marketing plans leveraging Global sales & marketing programs to maximize marketing effectiveness (ROI) in generating leads for deal-registration and pipeline creation.
• Facilitate and support the launch and execution of Partner marketing campaigns and programs in the region.
• Work alongside field marketing and support execution of the marketing strategy with Key Partners in support of regional objectives.
• Collaborate with the Global Partner Marketing team to provide regional input in support of the development of global partner marketing campaign plans.
• Lead regional level partner marketing projects and activities, such as Partner Summits, Partner Advisory Councils, etc
• Ensure tracking of programs metrics: analyze and communicate status on co-marketing activities against agreed metrics on a quarterly basis and identify opportunities to improve or optimize results.
Position Requirements
• Significant experience (10+ years) in channel/partner marketing and or programs in an enterprise software company
• Strong experience in Partner Marketing Management across multiple RTM (Alliances, Distributors, Solutions Providers, MSP and GSIs)
• Experience in creating and executing fully integrated marketing campaigns including creative, content, digital, social, live and virtual events and leveraging industry best practices
• Excellent organizational skills and demonstrated ability to plan, coordinate and execute large projects and deadlines
• Superior communication (oral and verbal) and presentation skills at all levels of the business
• Strong teamwork focus and ability to work across both global as well as cross-functional organizations
• Budgeting, Metrics and Dashboard creation and reporting
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Approximately 15-20% travel required
