Responsibilities
Overview The Director of Operations (DO) will bring leadership, direction, and oversight to residential and commercial solar project execution and service to achieve the lowest possible cost of goods sold
The DO will exercise competencies around safe working conditions, a quality project, developing leaders, sound construction methods, fundamental project management, planning, budgeting, contract negotiations, procurement, engineering, managing sub-contractors/suppliers and change management
This individual must demonstrate the capability of building relationships and serving customers through excellent collaboration and communication
Safety The Director of Operations will establish a culture and attitude of safety within the company and projects that will not prioritize business goals over the health and welfare of our people
Find and encourage positive safety behaviors on each project
Endorse and support “No Compromise on Safety”
Leadership The Operations Director will develop professional and respectful leaders and managers who will deploy our project management system to establish a leadership position in the market and facilitate excellence in everything we do
High-Performance Teams The DO will hire and facilitate the development of individuals who possess the required leadership and competency to produce a high-performing outcome for the company
All teams will be established and staffed in a manner that will produce an “A-team” result
The company will ensure all team members understand how each contributes to the success of each other, the project, and the company
