Responsibilities
The successful candidate will coordinate the cost-effective and timely introduction of new products in collaboration with other departments and will make an essential contribution to continuously improve the company products and processes for the benefit of customers
Coordinate with relevant departments (R&D, Operations, Procurement) to ensure the cost-effective and timely introduction of new products, including planning and overseeing new manufacturing processes and resolving production bottlenecks
Identify and implement processes for new products, ensuring both product and process quality are maintained, and conduct root cause analysis and problem-solving where required
Manage design transfer by producing project timelines and costings, assessing tooling requirements, placing orders, and updating technical literature, while also facilitating feasibility studies and implementing necessary design change controls
Collaborate with suppliers and procurement to ensure timely delivery of materials and components to support production schedules
Lead continuous improvement projects using lean methodologies to enhance manufacturing efficiency and quality
