Responsibilities
As a Legal Assistant, you will be expected to
Provide comprehensive administrative support to our team of attorneys, including but not limited to, drafting and proofreading legal documents, preparing court filings, and managing correspondence with clients and opposing counsel
Conduct thorough and timely legal research to support case preparation and strategy development
Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling appointments, court dates, and deadlines, ensuring all obligations are met in a timely manner
Maintain organized, up-to-date case files and client records, utilizing our firm's document management system
Communicate effectively with clients, court personnel, and other legal professionals, providing excellent customer service and maintaining the highest standards of professionalism
Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, coordinating witness schedules, and handling any last-minute logistics
