Entrusted Advisors is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Labor and Employment Attorneys with a strong background in handling high-profile investigations. The ideal candidate(s) will possess deep expertise in employment law, particularly in navigating complex issues related to workplace misconduct, white collar fraud/ financial, import/ export/ trade compliance, and regulatory compliance. This secondment project is a three month minimum commitment (Part-Time) with a long term extension based on performance. This role requires a strategic thinker capable of managing sensitive investigations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct investigations: Manage internal investigations related to workplace misconduct, harassment, discrimination, financial, trade, HSE, and other labor-related issues.
• Legal Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Provide strategic legal advice on risk management and mitigation strategies during investigations.
Qualifications:
• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active bar membership in any jurisdiction.
• Experience: Minimum of five (5) years of experience in labor and employment law, with significant experience in leading high-profile investigations within the technology industry preferred.
• Expertise: In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, including Title VII, ADA, ADEA, FMLA, and other relevant regulations. Experience in handling cases involving workplace misconduct, discrimination, harassment, financial misappropriation, export/ trade compliance issues, and whistleblower claims.
• Skills: Strong investigative and analytical skills with the ability to handle complex, sensitive matters.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple high-stakes cases simultaneously.
