Consultant for Standardization and Harmonization of HR Administration
Location: India (fully remote job - no relocation required)

Working in a global with an open approach that has a strong focus on good team spirit and will support your development. Working in collaboration with colleagues in various HR functions and BPO providers, you will be the motivator in driving the HR transformation. The transformation aims to improve compliance, and accuracy, reduce risks and enhance controls through the standardization of tools and processes globally. A successful transformation will enable the state-of-the-art employee user experience and create a foundation for successfully outsourcing identified HR activities. For this high-profile and critical undertaking, we need skilled profiles bringing the right tools and approach to fulfill an important role. We are moving away from an HR legacy blueprint, involving many manual processes, and your work will play a key role in reaching our target operating model.
How You Will Make An Impact
• Work closely with the project team involving all relevant partners, acting as a link between Global Process Owners, IT systems, Product Owners, and corporate and country team representatives, to standardize and harmonize the HR admin process.
• Drive identification of requirements for HR admin process across assigned regions and identify substandard processes through interaction with country HR admin/HR specialists and outsourcing partners.
• Focus areas will include the process of handling Employee Records Management,
• Case management, Employee Documents Management, Time, and Attendance, Leave and Absence, Separation (Exit Processing and Offboarding), HR Data Quality, etc
• Ensure “As-Is” process mapping to document the current state of the processes through the utilization of process tools and methodologies
• Identify and collate difficulties and improvement potentials related to process steps and/or system functionalities
• Drive the design of the revised “To-Be” standard process according to the defined global standardization framework using simplification and automation to achieve higher efficiency and effectiveness.
• Provide input for the definition of process KPIs, implementing controls, and maintaining compliance.
• Provide inputs for governance and communication structure for the process
• Develop an implementation plan for the revised process across the countries and ensure its achievement
• Supervise and measure the effectiveness of processes
• Control and ensure internal and external documentation of processes by relating with Colleges and BPO providers, ensuring documentation quality and building in-house knowledge.
• Implement function-level change management using a strong understanding of the business (e.g., readiness, timing, impact on collaborators, data, tools, systems, policies, etc.)
• Own the continuous improvement of the process by Incorporating process methodologies and implementing function-level process improvements, including optimizing, maintaining, and transforming current processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness
What You Bring
• We are looking for professionals who can lead new process design, focused on standardization and improving efficiency & effectiveness. An ideal candidate would bring a mix of subject matter expertise in the business, systems, and processes, with the right demeanor to positively impact the outcomes.
• Strong project management, consulting, and cross-team collaboration skills are required with an ability to effectively influence decisions, direction, and outcomes.
• Around 3-year (1 year for Junior) experience working in areas like business process transformation, process digitalization, and improving process performance in a global environment.
• Previous experience using or implementing technologies used to support HR Master data, T&A, benefits, payroll, finance & accounting is preferred.
• The candidate must have completed a university degree in a business-related subject area (e. G., Business administration, HR, etc.), Preferably with a focus on HR, IT, process optimization / management, or digital transformation
• Understanding of the end-to-end (Hire 2 Retire) Employee lifecycle process and a high-level understanding of global HR policies and compliance will be preferred.
• Good to have up-to-date knowledge of HR procedures and in best-case also about related laws
• Good to have hands-on experience in defining and implementing global HR administration solutions in a complex global organization
• Proven track record of articulating sophisticated subject matter effectively
• Can resolve issues in a variety of complex situations, without supervision
• Can establish relationships, lead projects and interactions with subtlety, and use verbal and written communication skills to act as a liaison between the HR function and the business
• Self-directed with an ability to organize, plan and prioritize
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a continuous improvement approach
• Self-motivated to drive initiatives through to completion as an individual contributor and through others
• Flexibility in working hours to support and work in a global environment

In this role you will be working within the Human Resources function – Standardization and Harmonization. This is a lean, but truly global and diverse team of specialists with an open demeanor. You will get all the trust and empowerment to be successful. Handling various HR topics spread across geographies will be driven, and global and require certain flexibility and commitment.
Within the Human Resources, the Standardization and Harmonization Technology team will be responsible for all global HR processes from Hire to Retire tools, enabling the digital transformation for HR service delivery. So, you and your colleagues will be the engine for transformation and our future HR landscape.
