OES offers a hybrid, flexible approach to work, where we work 2-3 days from our state-of-the-art Cremorne office, and the rest from home (or wherever you choose!). Key responsibilities:
External Communications
Drive media relations and cultivate enduring connections with journalists, editors, and influencers to attain favorable media coverage that aligns with organisational KPIs.
Plan, coordinate and execute PR and communications campaigns in close collaboration with internal teams such as the academic, student insights and business development teams.
Manage the development of content for media and public communications, including press releases, presentations, pitches, and media kits. - Plan, coordinate, and execute PR and communications campaigns in collaboration with internal teams.
Identify and source news-worthy student case studies for media and internal purposes across all partner brands.
Conceptualize and create media kits, including writing press releases and coordinating visual assets. - Work with key internal stakeholders to identify newsworthy innovations/products and developments for media use.
Manage the OES LinkedIn page and other social media accounts as required.
Internal Communications
Develop and implement internal communications strategy for OES, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
Collaborate with HR and Communications teams to design and execute internal communications that encourage high performance and celebrate diversity.
Manage distribution of internal communications to ensure appropriate channels are used.
Organise and manage internal events, including weekly updates and quarterly All Hands
Develop internal communication plans for the launch of new partnerships/products/investments.
Provide internal communications advice to senior executives.
Build relationships across the business and develop a network to create reflective content of activities across all departments and OES geographies.
Ensure that the OES values of Integrity, Teamwork, Agility & Innovation and Passion & Perseverance and conveyed in messaging where appropriate
Support HR team to promote OES’s EVP in alignment with corporate messaging and positioning.
Drive responses to ad hoc requests for communications support and advice from internal stakeholders
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Communications or a relevant field
Ability to communicate effectively to different audiences
10+ years Communications experience including experience in Corporate Communications
High-level strategic skills, stakeholder management and content briefing
Strong interpersonal skills, ability to work with cross-functional teams
The ability to work and communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders including CEO and senior executives
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The ability to handle multiple tasks and take accountability for those tasks, prioritizing them appropriately whilst maintaining a strong dialogue around progress on projects and issues.
