About Your Role
Manage all administrative tasks related to the mining site, including but not limited to document control, record keeping, data entry, and filing.
Assist with the coordination and maintenance of employee rosters, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information is recorded.
Arrange travel bookings, accommodation, and transportation for staff members flying in and out of the site, ensuring compliance with company policies.
Facilitate effective communication channels between the site, head office, and other stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate dissemination of information.
Assist with procurement activities, including monitoring inventory levels, tracking orders, and liaising with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
Support the implementation and maintenance of safety policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
Provide administrative support to site employees, including assistance with timesheets, leave management, and general inquiries.
Prepare regular reports on site activities, including attendance records, site incidents, and other relevant data, ensuring accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
Assist with a variety of ad-hoc administrative tasks, including organizing meetings, preparing documents, and handling correspondence.
What we are looking for
Proven experience in a similar site administration role within the mining or resources sector is highly desirable.
Familiarity with working in a FIFO environment and understanding the unique challenges associated with remote site operations.
Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in handling administrative tasks and documentation.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with document control systems and databases.
Willingness to work on a FIFO roster, typically consisting of extended shifts on-site followed by rest periods off-site.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, demonstrate a positive attitude, and contribute to a harmonious work environment.
Understanding of relevant safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
Pass a Pre-employment Medical/ as well as a drug and alcohol
Able to provide Police Check within the last 6 months.
