Full job description
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging and effective lesson plans, teaching English language and literature, and fostering a positive and productive learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities:
Instruction and Curriculum Development:
Develop and deliver lesson plans in alignment with curriculum standards.
Teach English language arts, including reading, writing, literature, and grammar.
Design and implement assessments to evaluate student progress.
Adapt teaching methods and materials to meet diverse learning needs.
Classroom Management:
Establish and maintain a positive, respectful, and productive classroom environment.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to handle disciplinary issues.
Encourage student participation and engagement in class activities.
Student Support:
Provide individualized support and guidance to students as needed.
Offer feedback and constructive criticism to help students improve their skills.
Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and concerns.

Administrative Duties:

Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
Valid teaching certification or licensure in [State/Country].
