Roles & Responsibilities
Drafting, reviewing / vetting and negotiating agreements and other related documentations w.r.t.
following functions:
• Information Technology (IT) Documentation: Software license agreements, MSAs, Software / Hardware Maintenance agreements and electronic-banking documentation.
• Wealth Management: Tie-ups partnering Insurance Companies, AIFs, Mutual Funds, Portfolio Management (including referrals).
• Transaction Banking Group: Offering of Cash Management Services to corporate clients, escrow arrangements, non-resident banking and electronic/digital banking.
• Marketing and Branding: Guidance on celebrity tie-up, social media branding.
• Digital Banking: Agreements and other documentation with the bank’s digital partners.
• Capital & Commodity Markets Division (CCMD) – arrangements with brokers, exchanges and other capital market intermediaries.
• IBU – GIFT City (liabilities / non-credit documentation).
• Provide legal advisory services on legal, compliance and operational matters of the Bank;
• To identify and find ways to reduce legal and operational risk.
• Promote, lead and manage the culture and practice of Compliance and ethics to ensure the conduct of business is within legal, regulatory requirements and with ethical standards.
Position Requirements
• Minimum 6-10 years of working experience in a leading private sector bank / NBFC or BFSI sector.
• Well versed with the laws in India;
• Investigative skills;
• Decision making skills;
• Negotiation and convincing skills
• Problem solving and conflict management skills
Qualification & Background:
• LLB / LLM from reputed law school and preferably Company Secretary as an additional qualification.
• Experience required in banking and financial sector
Location: Mumbai
This will be a fulltime Work from Office role at our Mumbai office. Candidates from outside Mumbai
must have clarity on relocating to Mumbai
