Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Hotel Housekeeping Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness, order, and aesthetic appeal in guest rooms and public areas. The Housekeeping Executive will lead a team of housekeeping staff, coordinate schedules, and ensure all guest rooms and common areas meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation.
Responsibilities:
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and lead the housekeeping staff, including room attendants, housekeeping supervisors, and laundry staff.
• Assign tasks, train new employees, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure high performance and motivation within the team.
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
• Operational Management:
• Develop and implement housekeeping procedures and policies to ensure efficient and effective cleaning and maintenance of guest rooms and public areas.
• Coordinate with other departments, such as maintenance and front office, to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure all equipment is properly maintained.
• Quality Control:
• Ensure that all guest rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.
• Implement quality control procedures and conduct regular inspections to identify areas for improvement.
• Address and resolve guest complaints and concerns regarding housekeeping services promptly and professionally.
• Training and Development:
• Conduct regular training sessions for housekeeping staff to ensure they understand and adhere to all housekeeping procedures and standards.
• Keep the team updated on the latest cleaning techniques, products, and equipment.
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the housekeeping team.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
• Implement and enforce proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment for all housekeeping staff.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Housekeeping Executive or similar role in the hospitality industry.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high standards of cleanliness and presentation.
• Knowledge of housekeeping procedures and best practices.
• Ability to manage and motivate a team of housekeeping staff.
• Familiarity with cleaning products and equipment.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree in hospitality management or a related field is a plus.
Preferred Skills:
• Previous experience in a leadership role within a hotel housekeeping department.
• Certification in housekeeping or hospitality management is a plus.
• Multilingual skills are an advantage.
• Familiarity with property management systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Working Conditions:
• This position requires the ability to stand, walk, and move around the hotel for extended periods.
• The role may involve working in a variety of environments, including guest rooms, corridors, and public areas.
• Must be able to lift, carry, and push cleaning equipment and supplies..
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
