Introduction:

End to end commercial management covering sub functions within GTIS – Service Delivery Software portfolio. Commercial Manager will be the key point of contact covering licensing, support and maintenance contracts, providing insights and will partner with senior leadership within GTIS, CIO teams, CTO & sourcing to drive down costs and ensure all contracts are renewed with an optimisation lens within the mandated governance timelines.

What will you be doing?

E2E Commercial management covering specific areas within GTIS Service Delivery Software portfolio, working with both GTIS and CTB teams
Capacity creation – Idea generation through to delivery relating to potential cost reduction, working in conjunction with supporting teams (CTB, Sourcing, Procurement, F&BM)
Insights & Strategy - Divest strategy (both product and ITBS) & contract renewals – tracking & providing useful MI to senior leaders to enable decision making and ensuring deals that are targeted as divest are scrutinized
Owning the initial screening reviews and due diligence for deals prior to DCP
Contract and vendor insights – Volumes purchased vs. consumed/ ResCat information/ support usage, working in conjunction with supplier management & SW asset management
Providing a high quality, consistent and standardised offering with complete ownership of all Commercial/ vendor related activities
Partner with senior leadership within GTIS and the CIO teams providing best in class commercial and Optimisation support
Contribute to MTP process with contract and budget due diligence
Budgeting – Forecasting/ Reforecasting vendor related spend and highlighting risks and opportunities, in conjunction with dedicated FBP
Support wider optimisation team with Adhoc queries and capacity creation/ opportunities follow ups

Barclays GTIS/ Tech spend processes
Commercial mindset – ability to think out of the box and generate ideas resulting in potential cost reduction on software
Ability to understand contracts
Finance knowledge
Excellent Microsoft skills (excel/ PowerPoint)
