We are seeking a talented and experienced Fashion Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design, a strong understanding of fashion trends, and the ability to translate creative concepts into high-quality garments and collections.
Job Title: Fashion Designer
We are launching 2 New In house Fashion Brand which will be making linen clothing.
Responsibilities:
• Concept Development: Develop and conceptualize unique fashion designs and collections that align with Quí Creatives' brand identity and the latest fashion trends.
• Sketching and Illustration: Create detailed sketches and technical illustrations of designs, including garment construction, fabric choices, and color palettes.
• Fabric and Material Selection: Source and select appropriate fabrics, materials, and trims to bring design concepts to life, ensuring quality and suitability for the intended design.
• Pattern Making and Draping: Develop patterns and drape fabrics to create prototypes and samples. Work closely with pattern makers and seamstresses to ensure accurate execution of designs.
• Trend Analysis: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging styles, and market demands. Incorporate trend research into design concepts and product development.
• Technical Specifications: Prepare detailed technical packs, including measurements, construction details, and specifications for production.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the design team, including graphic designers, textile designers, and product developers, to create cohesive and innovative collections.
• Fittings and Adjustments: Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to designs and prototypes to ensure the perfect fit and finish.
• Presentation: Present design concepts and collections to internal teams and clients, clearly articulating the inspiration, vision, and technical aspects of the designs.
• Production Oversight: Oversee the production process, from sample development to final manufacturing, ensuring quality control and adherence to timelines.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Fashion Designer, with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of fashion design projects.
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.
• Strong understanding of garment construction, fabric properties, and textile techniques.
• Excellent sketching, illustration, and technical drawing skills.
• Creative flair and a strong sense of style and aesthetics.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Knowledge of sustainable and ethical fashion practices is a plus.
