Job description
We are working on an exciting Internal Communications Events Manager position for our client based in Luton. Our client is looking for an Internal communications professional with a passion for planning, delivering and organising internal events for your colleagues to help bring the company's strategy and campaigns alive.
You will be a creative thinker and a project manager. This role is part of a wider Internal Communications team and the team's purpose is to connect their employees to the company’s strategy, mission, purpose and vision.
We are looking for someone who has experience in internal communications event management, and strong stakeholder management skills.
This role requires you to be in the office 3 days a week (this is a non-negotiable).
Create an effective Events strategy and narrative that aligns with the overarching Internal Communications strategy.
Design and deliver regular internal activations and events to increase employee engagement to encourage two-way conversations between leaders and colleagues.
Plan and coordinate all logistics for events, including managing the events calendar.
Promote internal events and activations using a variety of internal communications channels
You will be responsible for event logistics, presentations, collateral and promotional materials.
Liaise with key stakeholders and colleagues to bring engagement activations and events to life ensuring alignment with wider IC activities and the People Strategy
Manage event budgets, including cost estimation, allocation, and tracking expenses
Apply a strategic and creative internal comms lens when developing activations and events, ensuring they support the wider communications plans
After the events, complete post-event evaluations to measure the success of events by analysing attendee feedback and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
Drive employee engagement and morale through innovative and interactive event experiences.
Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in internal communications and events management to continuously improve strategies and tactics
