Why This Job Matters
As a Digital Marketing Executive at EE store, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping our online presence. From delivering compelling campaigns to optimising our website for maximum impact, you’ll be at the forefront of our digital strategy. The Digital Marketing Executive is responsible for managing the main marketing channels for EE store. They will be required to deliver key objectives around traffic growth, customer acquisition, retention and profitability, working to specific sales targets and reporting to the Marketing Manager.
Working collaboratively with other members of the team to drive improvements through to the websites and working with the wider team to ensure a seamless cross channel marketing message. They will be responsible for managing internal stakeholders, vendors and external digital agencies to deliver the goals of the business.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Ensure the running of digital activity onsite and offsite through our core marketing channels (CRM, PPC, Paid social, Affiliates)
• Engaging EE store with new and existing customers through the digital space, aiming to establish and manage online presence consistently
• Optimise and analyse digital channels / campaigns to drive successful performance
• To create an online presence across the key digital platforms
• To maintain and improve the EE store website – products, landing pages and campaigns
• Communicating with colleagues and key brands and presenting ideas/PowerPoints when necessary to bring the marketing to life and explain comprehensively.
• Providing support for new projects and initiatives as new market opportunities arise. Work with stakeholders to obtain necessary input and provide customer insights.
• Liaising and collaborating with key stakeholders internally to deliver key marketing activities and promotions throughout the year
• Analysing website traffic and ad engagement and reporting back on stats in a clear, concise manner.
• Contribute to the ongoing digital strategy with the latest trends in online initiatives (across the core marketing channels) so that we may plan for future enhancements
Must Have
Skills and experience you'll have under your belt:
• Proven success of online marketing in a B2C ecommerce environment, working to deliver to sales and margin targets.
• Experience in digital marketing across key marketing channels with a good understanding of both paid and organic channels.
• Commercial awareness and the ability to make day to day GTM decisions
• Analytical skills including Google Analytics (GA4) and Excel
• Professional approach and attitude.
• Flexible/adaptable to learning new processes and tools
Would Be Good To Have
• Experience of Ecommerce in the UK market
• Degree level education or professional qualification preferred.
• Experience of other digital analytic tools
