Manage procedures and department team members to ensure effect and efficient operations
Assure compliance of State of Maine Gaming Regulations and Oxford Casino Internal Controls for all accounting and cash handling
Communicate effectively with team members, management and attending departments
Listen and assist with problem solving and resolution
Ability to organize the team and maintain positive motivation
Perform administrative duties by way of keeping accurate records of team member and department performance
Review staffing levels to maintain budgeted level of employment
Delegate duties and assign responsibilities
Maintaining required documentation for count room, maintenance and repair logs for count machine(s), along with purchase orders and requisitions for count room equipment and supplies
Responsible for reviewing count machine reports for malfunctions or other problems and implementing appropriate maintenance and repair lists
Development of staff, interviews, hires, and evaluations for the Count Room department
Control and reduce lost time injuries
The Manager may perform the function and duties of a drop team attendant, such as collection, verification and reconciliation of unverified currency and paperwork in a safe, compliant and timely fashion
