Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales/Business Development Manager with a proven track record in IT sales. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of the sales cycle from lead generation to closure and will be responsible for driving revenue growth. This role requires a strategic thinker who can identify and capitalize on business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and deliver outstanding sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Generation and Prospecting:
- Identify and generate new business opportunities through various channels (cold calls, emails, social media, networking, etc.).
- Conduct market research to identify potential clients and target markets.
- Sales Process Management:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct needs analysis and present tailored IT solutions to potential clients.
- Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
- Relationship Building:
- Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, understanding their business needs and providing appropriate solutions.
- Negotiation and Closure:
- Negotiate contract terms and conditions to close sales and achieve revenue goals.
- Handle objections and concerns from prospective clients effectively.
- Account Management:
- Ensure smooth onboarding of new clients and provide ongoing support.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional services.
- Performance Tracking and Reporting:
- Track sales activities, pipeline status, and performance metrics.
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT sales, business development, or a related role.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of IT products and services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
