Bookkeeper

Job description
Our client, a Construction Service Company in Noblesville, IN, is looking for a Bookkeeper. The owner needs a top-notch person to help her manage their growing business. Our client's vision is that you will initially support bookkeeping functions and eventually gain the experience and knowledge to assume more accounting responsibilities.

The company has a significant number of Hispanic clients, so someone bilingual Spanish/English will be given top consideration.

This is an evaluation, contract-to-hire, paying $25.00+ per hour, depending on experience.

What will you do as a Bookkeeper?

Accounts Payable:
• Enter all bills in a timely manner
• Obtain approval to pay bills, and then pay bills on time to avoid penalties and interest
• Capture all expenses and record on job sheets and QuickBooks
• Reconcile all statements in QuickBooks
• File documents for historical recordkeeping
• Detailed preparation of all job costing

Accounts Receivable:
• Generate and send invoices using QuickBooks
• Generate A/R aging reports & collect past-due customer debts
• Deposit checks at bank
• Record bank deposits
• File documents for historical recordkeeping

Payroll:
• Review time and attendance entries
• Process payroll in QuickBooks

Ideally, as a Bookkeeper, you will have some construction experience, but it is not required. QuickBooks experience is required. Bilingual Spanish/Engigh is desired, A bright smile, customer service focus and fun attitude will be given top consideration!
