Hourly base salary for this position is $ 29.20 - $ 38.20 and is eligible for overtime pay in accordance to local state and federal ‘Wage and Hour’ requirements
All regular full-time employees are eligible for an annual bonus; payout is dependent upon individual and company performance

Responsibilities
The role of Employee Events Specialist has the core responsibility for planning and executing employee engagement events
This role oversees and carries out particular tasks or activities throughout the campaign / events planning and execution process, such as meeting with vendors virtually or at the venue location to help with set-up, running errands for supplies and decorations, registration and attendee tracking, ordering supplies, liaising with vendors and our internal staff, presentation support, and pre- and post-event surveys
This role procures and coordinates vendor services and provides general on-site and virtual event support
This role works with cross functional stakeholders to ensure the completion of a successful employee engagement event
Plans and executes a variety of events, including webinars, seminars, workshops, virtual events, in-person events, multi-venue events
Assists with all administrative, logistical, and coordination needs of HR, Employee Engagement, and DEI related events
Oversees event setup, registration, and coordination, ensuring a seamless attendee experience
Ensures that employee engagement event costs remain within the allocated budget
Helps to ensure that the employee engagement event is carried out smoothly
Builds and maintains relationships with event partners, sponsors, vendors, internal company staff and all relevant parties involved
Executes the vendor payment process in a timely manner and reports on spending
Plans for potential scenarios that could impact the integrity and success of the event
Maintains a working knowledge of the complex needs of a wide variety of events
Researches vendors, provides recommendations, and makes selections based on relevance, quality, and cost
Researches, recommends and orders needed supplies and employee giveaways (swag) related to all HR, Employee Engagement, DEI events, programs, and projects
Books venues and schedules guests, which includes communicating with venues, vendors, and guests, contract drafting, confirmation and day-of logistics
Ensures staffing capacity across all functions of an event (registration, set up, catering, audio/visual, etc.)
Leads volunteer coordination for virtual and in-person events, including periodic communications and meetings leading up to the event
Assist with collection and analysis of event data, including attendance and feedback to measure event success and inform future strategies
Helps conduct post-event surveys, analyzes results, and provides recommendations for continuous improvement

What you'll be doing

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
• Project management certification(s) would be preferred
