ASIGN - Digital Content Writer

Job Description

This is a remote position.

The Digital Content Writer is responsible for conceptualising strategies and creating content for the ASIGN platform. The applicant must have a flair for writing and communicating ideas around art and culture, and have an excellent eye for detail. The writer will be part of a diverse team of content creators, and maintaining the brand’s tone and voice across its various digital platforms. They will also oversee audience engagement and have an astute understanding of SEO optimisation & performance analytics.

Please note:
1. The vetting process for this role comprises 2-3 rounds of interviews and may be followed by a brief assignment.
2. The Art X Company is hiring for this role on behalf of ASIGN.
3. This is an on-site, full-time position based in Chennai OR Mumbai.
4. Salary band for this role is available upon request.
Requirements Essential Qualifications:
• A Master’s degree in Journalism, English, or related field
• Strong communication skills, with written and verbal proficiency in English
• Knowledge of at least one vernacular Indian language is ideal
• Competency in using IT systems, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, and Powerpoint

Essential Experience:
• 3-5 years of experience working as a digital content creator or writer
• Experience working in creative brands and developing brand strategies preferred
• Awareness and interest in social media and digital communication trends is a must
• Experience working in diverse teams and prior experience working for a structured company
