Position Summary
Purpose
The Advisor needs to perform a variety of financial activities including budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with close processes.
Duties & Responsibilities
Functions
ESSENTIAL
• Responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financials for relevant Service Line in accordance with corporate polices and guidelines
• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Guide the cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedure
• Preparing of monthly internal and external reporting for assigned projects for the Operational Service Line
• Partner with Operational Regional Business Group leads and Project Managers and provide support and recommendations for opportunities for business improvement
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports.
• Analytics for bid review preparation, development and decision making
• Work with the FP&A leads to support investment look backs and profitability analysis on projects
• Develop CAPEX model and applicable approval processes for specific capital expenditure
• Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
• Assist the Finance Project Manager in internal and external audit and regulatory reporting / compliance
• Drive implementation of financial process standardisation in the organization
• Approval of Journal entries and lead the Month-End Close Process
• Approval of Balance Sheet Reconciliations.
• Any other tasks as required to be performed by Management
