Responsibilities
Seeking a part-time administrative assistant for Monday and Tuesday full days to work onsite
Answer phone calls and transfer as needed; direct persons arriving to the parish office
Data entry of parishioner contributions (weekly)
Prepare donor acknowledgment letters as larger gifts come in, and annually
Assure wedding files are complete for weddings celebrated here; send files out for weddings to be celebrated elsewhere; remind couples of payment and document deadlines
Give information over phone, email, and in person about services offered and initial paperwork corresponding to various sacraments and programs including social ministry services, baptisms, weddings, funerals, religious education, Mass requests, anointing of the sick, and confessions
Request information from ecclesiastical and civil entities via any means of communication
Office work including handwritten and digital forms, logs and registers
Prepare certificates pertaining to sacramental records and classes
Prepare documents and envelopes for mailing
Sort incoming mail and receive deliveries
File documents for various departments as needed
