Location: Columbia, SC (Onsite)
Salary: $35,000-$40,000
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm

Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management:
Maintain and update accounting records, including but not limited to general ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, and payroll processing.
Prepare and analyze financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and regulations.
Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
Monitor budgetary performance and report on variances.
Tax Compliance:
Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and compliance with all relevant tax regulations.
Stay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulations to ensure compliance and optimize tax strategies.
Audit and Controls:
Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations.
Implement and maintain effective internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Accounts Payable and Receivable:
Process invoices, expense reports, and payments accurately and in a timely manner.
Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on overdue accounts.
Payroll Processing:
Accurately process payroll, including deductions, benefits, and taxes.
Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations and company policies.
Qualifications:
Experience and Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Skills and Attributes:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
