Accounting Manager

Job description
Our client is an organization in the Anoka County area looking for an Accounting Manager. Our client is looking for someone with 5+ years of experience, strong business acumen, and a strong collaborator. This company offers a rapidly growing organization and a dynamic work environment. This position is hybrid.

The salary for this position is $120k - $150k + bonus.

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close; meet internal and external reporting deadlines.
- Timely completion of monthly account reconciliations.
- Timely and accurate completion of various reserves including allowance for bad debts and returns, excess and obsolete inventory and freight capitalization.
- Manage intercompany sales, payables and receivables, ensuring proper reconciliation and elimination at period end.
- Support daily/weekly treasury functions by processing wires, checks and other daily cash reporting functions.
- Various audit schedules and analysis as needed to support year-end audit.
- Other duties and projects as assigned.

The Accounting Manager will possess the following:

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Supervisory and/or project leadership experience.
- CPA, CMA or other appropriate certification, or desire to obtain certification, preferred.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP.
- Advanced skills with ERP systems (NetSuite a plus), automation and Microsoft Excel.
