Shift: First Shift
The Accounting Assistant is responsible for completing all accounts payable functions for MVH including data entry, importing and exporting of invoice and payment data, maintaining vendor files, issuing payments and 1099’s to vendors, and filing of invoices. The Accounting Assistant also assists with payroll functions as assigned. This position also performs administrative duties such as weekly deposit logs, and maintaining petty cash and file retention records. Duties will be assigned directly and/or on a rotating basis to ensure proper cross training for backup purposes.
This position is hybrid, with both on-site and remote opportunity.

Experience and Skills:
• High school degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years combination of post-secondary education/training/experience with accounts payable, payroll or accounting.
• Proficient computer skills required.
