Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
Create new general ledger accounts, account strings, and budget pooling
Manage patient care accounting and reconciliations
Assist and collaborate with patient care divisions to improve fiscal processes and financial reporting
Maintain fixed asset records, system, and general ledger accounts
Review and post payroll accounting entries
Reconcile investment accounts and prepare related audit schedules
Prepare schedules and gather information required by the University’s independent auditors
Serve as financial representative for a cross-functional group of leaders evaluating Ellucian Colleague updates
Assist in third party reporting, including IRS forms 990 and 1099
Adhere to internal controls while driving continuous process and documentation improvement
Build strong relationships with departments across the University and Health Clinics
