Due to continued company growth, this organization is seeking to add an experienced Staff Accountant to join their North Carolina team.

Offices are located in Carolina Beach and Nags Head, NC.

Responsibilities
• Complete month-end close procedures, including account reconciliation, journal entry preparation, and review and analysis of revenue and expense accounts
• Prepare monthly financial reports analyzing variances in financial performance
• Assist with the preparation of external financial statements and support of external audits
• Plan and execute monthly financial review with local operations team
• Complete year-end tax forms for owners and vendors

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1+ years' of accounting experience in either industry or public accounting
• Demonstrated knowledge of US GAAP principles
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills and a desire to collaborate with the team
