Qualifications
Be a current UW student in good academic, financial, and behavioral standing
Excellent computer skills
Strong inter-personal, communication and customer service skills as well as possess a high degree of attention to detail
Ability to problem solve, work as a team player, and manage multiple priorities
Reliability, accuracy, and flexibility related to work schedule
Dependable and Personable
Able to perform under general supervision
Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time and assist in lifting/moving files, office equipment and supplies
Ability to work through the summer is required
Responsibilities
The position will assist the Business Manager and the Accountant in a team environment by performing general office and accounting support duties, maintaining records and filing systems, and performing data entry tasks
This position also requires assisting with processing accounting paperwork and performing basic mathematical calculations
Students in this position are asked to assist with special projects as directed as well as run errands across campus
This position provides vital support to campus customers and requires the successful candidate be available to work on campus
HOURS: 15-20 hours per week
